Firefly Airlines Says Terima Kasih(Thank You) To All

Saying terima kasih (thank you) is an everyday etiquette & a simple courtesy that takes just a moment. It costs nothing, not even an effort. But it’s also one of the most important ways in which we interact with others, both those closest to us & those with whom we have contact for the briefest of times. Firefly Airlines (Firefly) as always runs the most appropriate campaigns at the right time of the year to remind many of us on the basics. As such, the current campaign launched by the Firefly is Terima Kasih

As we approach Merdeka & Malaysia Day, the 100% Malaysian airline goes all out to show gratitude & thanks to all whom it has served & will be serving as Malaysia is sure famous for good manners & warm hospitality. There are many exciting promotions & initiatives lined up for the Terima Kasih campaign that customers can enjoy from. Currently the airline is giving up to 60% discount on all domestic destinations & also for those who are into holiday packages for the upcoming long weekends, you can enjoy flight & accommodation at a 50% discount. Firefly will be at the MATTA Fair 2019 from 6 to 8 September 2019 at PWTC, KL to offer various deals & to promote discovering domestic destinations in Malaysia. Furthermore, it is said that there will be an event at Subang Skypark to engage with customers & fellow Malaysians as we well as creating awareness on Malaysian manners & hospitality

“Saying thank you or terima kasih to those who have helped or sacrificed for us a is mere gesture of showing gratitude and basic human value. Think of a time you told or didn’t tell someone how grateful you were for their help, support or even just for being in your life. How did that moment make you and that person feel? Don’t let your manners wobble on the edge of extinction. Saying thanks may not matter to you, but it does matter to the person you say it to. They’ll remember you and they’ll likely go out of their way to help you in the future. Terima Kasih, Thank You. Xie Xie. Nandri. Gracias. Arigato. It doesn’t matter what language you speak, expressing gratitude is important. Everyone is struggling their own battle, say thank you and make their day. Ucapkanlah Terima Kasih!” shared Firefly Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Izra Izzuddin

She added that being in the hospitality industry, it is key that one is rooted with good manners, friendliness, warmth & kindness as it will display positive values eg. providing courteous & gentle service to passengers. It is important to be able to leave a positive image of our country to a tourist. This will also enable tourists to enjoy a relaxing holiday as they feel that their arrival here is welcomed & appreciated by the local community. Therefore, employees at Firefly are consistently reminded of smiling & speaking in a gentle tone when dealing with passengers

As the airline also seems to have been actively campaigning for environmental & recycling initiatives recently, there will be a CSR initiative happening this September in conjunction with World Clean-up Day 2019. This is also in line with the Terima Kasih campaign whereby Firefly wants to demonstrate that Terima Kasih can even be said or shown to mother nature & it is time to educate the younger generation to preserve our homeland, Malaysia
